Mandy-Marie Eldredge grew up in Paul, Idaho, the oldest of nine children–and all of them were girls except eight! She learned the value of work, perseverance, and finding joy in the journey under the tutelage of her parents. She graduated from Ricks College as an Office Education major in 1990 and with a BS in Family Life from Brigham Young University in April 2014. In 1999 she was diagnosed with clinical depression. “I have so much to be grateful for…why do I feel so mad, sad, empty, and discouraged?” was a common phrase in her mind. Anti-depressants helped her feel ‘level’ but something was still missing.
In 2009 she decided to see if there was a root cause to the depression monster. If, at the end of searching, she just needed to depend on medication, then she decided she would–it was better than the alternative. Thanks to a great doctor who was willing to look into root causes, the journey to end the depression monster began. Understanding food allergies and intolerance, learning about the connection between gut health and mind health, and then being led to the connection between mind, body, and spirit led to the final breakthrough for emotional freedom. While studying Family Science at Brigham Young University, she learned more about the connection between emotions and life experiences and how they interact in the family system.
In December 2012, after applying the tools she now coaches with, Mandy-Marie was completely released from the shackles of depression. It has left her life completely! She has been medicine free for six years. Gone is the desire to hide in a hole and hope the world won’t notice. Gone is the desire to keep it all to herself. Her mission now is to share with others the hope of emotional freedom and just how to get there!
Mandy-Marie and her husband, Steve, have five children, 3 sons-in-law, two grandchildren, and reside in Highland, Utah. Steve also mentors individuals and corporations. Join us as we elevate our experiences on this planet! It matters!
